Penelope Cruz arrived at the Shrine Auditorium for the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday evening.
The 34-year-old Spanish beauty looked lovely in a black curve-accentuating gown as she mingled with guests before hitting the entrance.
During the night’s ceremony, Penelope is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Maria Elena in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Miss Cruz was named Chopin Outstanding Performer of the Year at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival the previous night.

Anne Hathaway on 2009 SAG Awards
Another actress impresses the audience on 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards. That was the “Devil Wears Prada” star Anne Hathaway, which was the definition of pure classic beauty.
Miss Hathaway strolled along the Shrine Auditorium red carpet, posing for the photographers and waving to fans before hitting the entrance for the night’s ceremony.
The 26-year-old actress just so happens to be among the nominees during the 15th running of the SAG Awards.
Competing against Kate Winslet, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep and Melissa Leo in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role category, Anne was nominated for her portrayal of Kym in “Rachel Getting Married”.
