As we reported engagement rumours started after a report was published on July 21 that Kennedy, 39, had proposed to his 30-year-old girlfriend onstage at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California, over the weekend.
“There’s no truth to the report,” People magazine quoted Hewitt’s representative as saying.
Kennedy’s representative also added: “There’s no truth to this report whatsoever.”
Kennedy has also clarified on his Twitter.com page that he did not propose to Hewitt.
“There’s a lil rumor going round that i got down on one knee in Long beach. If I was going to get down on one knee do you think I would do it in the LBC???? I mean I’m down with Snoop but L Beach doesn’t scream Romance. I love my girl and when it happens you’ll be the first to know,” he had written.
