Gwyneth Paltrow on Rome Iron Man premiere
On her European promotional tour Gwyneth Paltrow joined co-stars Terrence Howard and Robert Downey Jr, along with director Jon Favreau, at the Iron Man premiere at Hassler Hotel in Rome on Wednesday (April 23).
“Shakespeare In Love” actress and her fellow cast members already held “Iron Man” premieres in Paris, Berlin and Rome. UK premiere starts on Thursday (April 24) night in London.
“Iron Man”, which hits theaters in the United States on May 2nd isn’t the typical Paltrow project; in fact she says her friends and family weren’t sure what to think when she announced her involvement in the film.
She told press, “A lot of people were really confused when they heard I was doing Iron Man. They thought I was doing an Iron man triathlon.”
Movie is based on the original Marvel comic book superhero who wears shiny, high-tech robot outfit. Bulletproof and airborne, “Iron Man” is ready to save the world.
