In less than a month in theaters will begin playing the film “Slumdog Millionaire” (the millionaire street) from British director Dannyja Boylea in which the main role plays beautiful Indian actress Freida Pinto. Action film takes place in Mumbai, in a poor residential quarter crowded with talented kids seeking enough money to afford a life worthy of man.

Everything starts with Jamal Malik, orphan from the suburbs of Mumbai who registers for show “Who wants to be a millionaire?” in the hope that he will win the first prize, worth 20 million rupee. Police soon arrest him on suspicion that he cheated in the show, and he tries desperate to prove his innocence. Jamal in the movie tell stories and accidents about notorious suburbs where he grew up with his poor family, and their adventures on the road growing up, the hassle with the local gangs, and encounters with magical girl Latikom which he loved and lost. Here appears this incredibly beautiful actress Freida Pinto.

Freida was prepared for the film by two acting stars – Angelina Jolie and Kate Winslet, and the Indian learned much from them about the famous red carpet, the behavior with colleagues, relationship with the media and posing for photographers.

Recently, Freida Pinto admitted that she’s beginning to feel homesick after a worldwide promotional tour of her breakthrough movie “Slumdog Millionaire”.

However, after spending time flying between the Big Apple and Los Angeles, the 24-year-old admits Manhattan has become a second home, where she can relax and gather her thoughts.

She says, “There’s something about New York. It’s quite a lot like Mumbai in many ways, but it’s (Mumbai) not as organized as this city and obviously not as cool as New York.
