The former England captain and Los Angeles Galaxy player at the moment is leaving for Italy to join AC Milan, to boost his chances of playing in the World Cup.
The club’s vice-president Adriano Galliani has reportedly said: “Beckham wants to train and play with Milan. We want him. He will arrive in January and we will sign him. It’s not just a shop-window deal, it’s a great deal.”
Beckham is “considering a loan move for a couple of months to make sure he’s fit and available for England,” his spokesman Simon Oliveira said.
David has been appointed as a vice-president for England’s 2018 World Cup bid as the country begins its quest to stage the tournament in ten years time.
Speaking of his appointment, David said, “I’m proud to be part of the FA’s 2018 World Cup bid and will do everything I can to help bring the tournament to England. I was able to play my part in the successful London 2012 Olympic bid and throughout my career have witnessed the difference sport makes to people’s lives, all over the world.”
While David Beckham is all set to leave for Milan, wife Victoria is quite happy staying back with her three sons in Los Angeles. However, Posh will stay in America, as she is quite happy being in the country, where her career is flourishing.
