The Havoc star, Anne Hathaway has taken aim at actors who alter their faces with plastic surgery – insisting film stars need flaws to express emotion.
Anne once felt so insecure about her looks, she considered having a nose job. But the 25-year-old, now the face of beauty giant Lancôme, is happy with her imperfections..
She says, “I wanted a nose job, but now, my nose is what lets me change my face a lot and I can be glamorous as Agent 99 (in Get Smart), then look rough as a drug addict for Jonathan Demme” in forthcoming movie Rachel Getting Married. Your face needs to have character if you’re an actor – otherwise you’re just a face.”
Anne Hathaway doesn’t like plastic surgery, but she has insisted that there is nothing wrong with nakedness in movies.
The actress, who most recently appeared in “The Devil Wears Prada” alongside Meryl Streep, agreed to strip off for Brokeback Mountain and Havoc despite her Catholic upbringing.
“I grew up studying classic painters. They certainly didn’t shy away from nakedness. I don’t find anything morally reprehensible about it,” People.com quotes her as saying.
“I think it is different to pose in a pair of hot pants on the cover of Stuff magazine. That’s something I’m just not interested in doing.”
Anne has a lot of troubles in private life lately. She has been rocked by the investigation, and arrest of, her former boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, who is accused of swindling millions and at last with nakedness nightmare as you can see in video report.
