61st Cannes Film Festival Kicks Off

The 61st Cannes International Film Festival Kicks off today. It is one of the world’s oldest, most influential and prestigious film festivals alongside Venice and Berlin.

Today, Jack Black was spotted goofing off at a photo call for his new flick “Kung Fu Panda” and we’re looking forward to see his co-star Angelina Jolie, who has two films in this year’s festival - “Kung Fu

Panda” and Clint Eastwood’s “The Changeling.”

The first day of the Cannes Film Festival Eva Longoria arrived at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes. Eva came without Tony Parker, looking lovely in her back exposing dress. In the meantime Natalie Portman

attended a photocall for this year’s jury members.

Crown for the first day best appearance belonged to Cate Blanchett. The “I’m Not There” actress and mother of three kids looked fabulous on Cannes red carpet.

This year’s festival is sure to be a good one, as “Indiana Jones” and “The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull” will be making its world premiere at the event.

We will also see premiere of most expected Woody Allen’s film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona. This movie talks about two young American women, played by Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall, who find romantic adventure in Barcelona with an artist (Javier Bardem), though he’s still entangled with his mad ex-wife (Penelope Cruz).
