Former Chelsea boss and current “I’m on Setanta Sports” presenter Jose Mourinho has had discussions with Inter Milan about becoming their new manager.

Mourinho’s personal advisor, Eladio Parames, has said that the 44-year-old and his agent Jorge Mendes flew to Italy yesterday to begin negotiations with Inter chairman Roberto Moratti.

“It is true they are in Italy and will return to Lisbon on Saturday,” Parames said.

The Portuguese has been linked with a number of European clubs, and the England job, since he left Chelsea in September last year.

AC Milan and Barcelona have been speculated as clubs where Mourinho could return to management this summer but Parames has said that Inter had contacted the former Porto coach.

“Of course, it was Inter who contacted Mourinho and his agent, not Mourinho contacting them,” Parames said.

“Mourinho always showed interest in working in Italy, and he received the contact with pleasure.”

Talks will raise suspicions as to whether Coach Roberto Mancini will be sacked at the end of the current campaign. Mancini announced he would step down at the end of the season following their Champions League exit to Liverpool earlier this month but reneged on that decision 24 hours later.

Milan is four points clear at the top of Serie A following last week’s defeat to third-placed Juventus. Meanwhile, Luis Figo is close to reaching an agreement to extend his stay with the Italian champions, according to the player’s agent Miguel Macedo.

“These reports about Mourinho have nothing to do with Luis Figo’s interest in staying with Inter. Since Luis joined the club, many good things have happened to him.

“He has a great relationship with Roberto Moratti, who showed interest to keep Luis Figo in the club.”

Mourinho is the ideal man to rebuild Inter’s squad into an effective team that can win in Italy and perform in Europe. He may begin immediately by poaching Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard from Chelsea.

Relations between Barcelona and Ronaldinho have reached a point of no return and the club may dispense with the Brazilian star at the end of the season, Spanish newspapers said on Wednesday.

But Barcelona club president Joan Laporta has backed Ronaldinho to return to his former glories at the Camp Nou.

The 28-year-old Brazilian had endured a difficult season with questions about his fitness levels and weight dominating the headlines rather than his deeds on the pitch.

However, Joan Laporta says: “There is no divorce between Barcelona and Ronaldinho. I have always had absolute respect for the player.

“Ronaldinho has given a lot to Barca and I believe he can continue to do so. We all appreciate that at the moment he is going through a bad phase.

“There is no time to think about individuals. We must think about the team rather than individuals.”

Barca said on its website on Wednesday that Ronaldinho had performed recuperation exercises in the club’s gym in the morning.

We will have to await the outcome of Ronaldinho Barca story. In the meantime Frank Rijkaard’s team are now just four points behind league leaders Real Madrid after thrashing Valladolid 4-1 at Camp Nou on Sunday – without Ronaldinho.

Owen Wilson stops pursuing his ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson lately. According to reports, main reason for that is his co-star in “Marley and Me” movie Jennifer Aniston.

Rumor has it that the Butterscotch Stallion and the former Mrs. Brad Pitt have been forming a mutual admiration society, and according to insiders, it could be love.

A source told press that the movie set has been quite a catalyst for attraction. “The hugging didn’t end when the cameras stopped rolling. They were very flirty together, far more than you would expect. In between takes they were hanging onto each other. They are very friendly!”

A friend of Aniston’s told press she wasn’t initially looking forward to working with Wilson, given his recent personal troubles.

“She wasn’t looking forward to the film at first because she was worried about working with Owen, but he has turned out to be a real surprise. She’s finding out that he’s a terrific guy who’s fun to be around. Jennifer is known for being a recluse on set. But she’s having so much fun hanging out with Owen. She’s just really relaxed and happy, which is nice to see.”

When he is at home, the actor insists on making a morning feast for his pregnant partner Angelina Jolie and their children.

A source close to Brad reveals, “Breakfast is Brad’s favorite time of the day, because he spends it with the children. Brad makes an awesome breakfast. He cooks eggs and bacon, pancakes and all other breakfast treats all at the same time. He once told me, ‘I am more proud of the way I make breakfast than I am about the way I make movies’.” Brad believes it is a great time for family bonding.

In the meantime we received pictures of pregnant Angelina Jolie with her children, while she was leaving local Corner Store. Each of the children had its own snack.

Brad Pitt is maybe proud of his morning feast, but these pictures telling us that children would like to skip his breakfast.

Previous attempts of Lindsay Lohan to make it into the music industry failed. However, she is giving it another shot with her third album, and wants to make it to the top this time.

She said, “I want it mainly to be dance. I would like it to be Kylie Minogue meets Rihanna. I hope to tour with it and I hope to really promote it.”

“It’s a new slate for me, and I want that to show in my new record,” said Lohan.

Lohan is also hoping that this album will distance her from her past problems.

Meanwhile, during a recent interview, the Barbados native shared some insight into the diet that keeps her figure so svelte.

Asked if she has a strict diet, Rihanna replied: “Carbs are the enemy but if I go three days without them, I start getting weak. If my trainer had her way, I’d eat small meals every three hours, but I sometimes only eat once or twice a day.”

Going into detail, the 20-year-old adds: “I have egg whites and pineapple for breakfast with hot water and lemon. For lunch I have fish and potatoes. I hate vegetables but I make myself eat them. For dinner I have fish again.”

Making the most of a NYC promotional trip, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz celebrated at the Bittersweet World album release party at NYC’s Marquee on Tuesday night.

Recently, the couple have been atop of the headlines with baby rumors after a reported blog posting by Mr Wentz.

According to a story from The Sun, “Pete recently announced the couples’ plans to make something that cannot be illegally downloaded, hinting at a baby. In the bizarre video message, Ashlee and Pete, who have dated since last summer, also reveal that the “release date” is July 2008, before Ashlee poses with a cushion stuffed under her top.”

So far, nothing further has been said to confirm or deny the baby-on-the-way talk.

Meanwhile, in other Ashlee news, the Outta My Head singer recently told MTV about her first kiss, saying: “My first kiss? I must have been 14. Yeah, 14. And I was on tour. My face turned red.
